Day 01 - Cochin |
|

A Dreamland representative will
be waiting to receive you at the Kochi
International Airport or, if you are arriving by
train, at the railway station, and will take you
to your hotel. The first evening in Cochin is set
aside for shopping and visits to the city’s
entertainment centers. Overnight stay at your
hotel in Cochin.

Day 02 - Cochin - Munnar |

Day 2 begins with breakfast and
a sight seeing expedition to places in and around
Cochin including Mattancherry, Dutch Palace, the
Jewish Synagogue, the Church of St Francis Xavier,
Chinese Fishing Nets, etc. Post lunch is the 4
hour journey to Munnar, 135 Km away from Cochin.
Rest, dinner and overnight stay at the hotel in
Munnar.

Day 03- Munnar |
|
After breakfast enjoy a full
day taking in the natural beauty and scenic spots
in and around the enchanting hill resort town of
Munnar. Moving through rolling tea and cardamom
plantations, you will be visiting Mattupetty Dam,
Rajamalai, Echo Point, Kundale Dam and Golf Club,
Top Station - the highest point in Munnar. Finally
back to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 04 - Munnar - Thekkady |

Breakfast and then off to
Thekkady ( Periyar National Park ), a pristine and
serenely beauteous wildlife preserve, famous for
its Asian Elephants. After check in and
relaxation, the evening is set aside for a visit
to the spice plantation and shopping in the spice
market. In anticipation of the next day’s
rendezvous with the pachyderms, rest and overnight
stay at the hotel.

Day 05 - Thekkady - Kumarakom |
|
Post breakfast, don your nature
exploration attire and join the boat ride on the
Periyar Lake and watch the animal kingdom in all
its glory, deep in the forest with herds of wild
elephants and deer jostling and frolicking on the
edges of the lake. From there, we move to
Kumarakom, a small village on the bank of Vembanad
Lake, which hosts a bird sanctuary with a
cacophony of migratory birds arriving and leaving
to and from different parts of the world. Chart a
course back to the hotel via the backwaters in the
surrounding swamps, in the comfort and serenity of
a boat winding its way through the many backwater
canals.

Day 06 -Kumarakom

After breakfast, we head back
to Cochin. You have the day to yourself, to rest
or go shopping or just explore the sights and
sounds of Cochin, until its time to head for the
Airport / Railway Station, with the magnificent
trip safely tucked away in your camera and your
memories. |
