The Deccan Odyssey takes you on trip
across the coastal and interior areas of the Western state
of
Maharashtra, along with a stopover in
Goa, one of the

Fairy Queen |

The Fairy Queen is a resurrected train
which used to run on the British built railway network in
the Eastern provinces, from Howrah to Raniganj, starting
in 1855. The steam powered locomotive was fired up again
as a tourist attraction for trips across Rajasthan in
1997. The train has first class coaches with an on-board
pantry and a capacity to transport 50 passengers. The
trips are weekend trips starting from
Delhi and ending in Alwar, where travelers are taken to the Sariska National
Park. With late night dinners and traditional dances with
folk artists, the Fairy Queen brings tourists face to face
with the full color and glory of the Rajasthani culture
