Day 01 -
Gangtok |

Arrive
at Bagdogra airport/ New Jalpaiguri station. Proceed
to Gangtok (approx. 4hrs/ 124 kms). On arrival transfers
to the hotel. |

Day 02 - Gangtok |

After Breakfast , visit Chorten – A stupa built
in 1945, Deer Park with an image of the preaching Buddha,
Orchid sanctuary over 200 species of orchids, Enchey
monastery with its exhibits of images & religious
objects. Tshukla-Khang the royal monastery of the former
rulers of Sikkim & the Research Institute of Tibetology. |

Day 03 -
Gangtok |
|
After breakfast visit a full day excursion trip to
Changu lake (3720 m above sea level). This lake is
18km from the Chinese Border. At Nathula, the major
attraction for tourists is the opportunity to take
a guided walk in the surrounded hills for a spectacular
view over the lake & mountains. |

Day 04 -
Gangtok – Kalimpong |
|
After Breakfast drive to Kalimpong (Approx. 3 ½
hrs drive/67 kms). Transfer to the hotel. After a
quick wash & change, proceed for a city tour visiting
Deolo Hill, Dr.Graham’s Home, Thongsa Monastery,
13th Mile View Point, Zong Dog Palri, Fo- Brang Gompa
& Himalayan Nursery. |

Day 05 - Kalimpong – Darjeeling |
|
This morning we have an early start to drive to Darjeeling
(approx. 3 hrs./60 kms). On arrival check into your
hotel. Rest of the day is free to explore the town
on your own. Perhaps you may take a walking tour of
the mall. |

Day 06 -
Darjeeling |
|
Early Morning (before sunrise) visit Tiger Hills &
watch the sunrise over Mt. Everest Kanchenjunga Ranges.
It is at an altitude of 2550 metres and the view is
spectacular. After watching the sunrise we will visit
the Ghoom monastery built in Tibetan style, it enshrines
a statue of the Maitreya Buddha. Later we return to
the hotel for breakfast. Rest of the day is free. |

Day 07

Darjeeling |
|
After Breakfast, visit Dhirdham Temple, Himalayan
Mountaineering Institute, Zoological Park, Batasa
Loop to see the toy train wind its way. Lebong rays
course one of the smallest and highest race courses
in the world, Happy Valley Tea Estate. |

Day 08
- Depart
Darjeeling |
|
Today we depart for Badogra Airport / New Jalpaiguri
station (approx. 3.5 hrs/ 120 kms) to take your flight/train
back home. |
