Day 01 - Darjeeling |

Arrive at Bagdogra airport / New
Jalpaiguri station. Proceed to Darjeeling (approx. 3.5
hrs /120 kms). On arrival transfer to the hotel. Evening
is free. |

Day 02 -
Darjeeling |
| |
Today we have a very early
start (before sunrise) to go to Tiger Hills &
watch the sunrise over Mt. Everest Kanchenjunga
Ranges. It is at an altitude of 2550 metres and
the view is spectacular. After watching the
sunrise we will visit the Ghoom monastery built in
Tibetan style, it enshrines a statue of the
Maitreya Buddha. Later we return to the hotel for
breakfast. Rest of the day is free. |

Day 03 -
Darjeeling |
|
After breakfast go for a city tour visiting Dhirdham
Temple Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Zoological
Park, Batasa Loop to see the toy train wind its way.
Lebong rays course one of the smallest and highest race
courses in the world, Happy Valley Tea Estate. |

Day 04 -
Darjeeling - Gangtok |
|
After breakfast go for
a city tour visiting Dhirdham Temple Himalayan Mountaineering
Institute, Zoological Park, Batasa Loop to see the toy
train wind its way. Lebong rays course one of the smallest
and highest race courses in the world, Happy Valley
Tea Estate. |

Day 05 - Gangtok |
|
Today after breakfast, go for a tour visiting Chorten-
A Stupa built in 1945, Deer Park with an image of the
preaching Buddha, Orchid sanctuary over 200 species
of orchids, Enchey monastery with its exhibits of images
& religious objects. Tshukla-Khang the royal monastery
of the former rulers of Sikkim & the Research Institute
of Tibetology. |

Day 06 - Gangtok |
|
This morning we take a full day
excursion trip to Changu lake (3720 m above sea level).
This lake is 18km from the Chinese Border. At Nathula,
the major attraction for tourists is the opportunity
to take a guided walk in the surrounded hills for a
spectacular view over the lake & mountains. |

Day 07
- Depart Gangtok |
|
Today we depart for Bagdogra airport/New Jalpaiguri station (approx. 4 hrs/124 kms) to take your flight/train back home. |
